Joining ICTMD and its Early Career Scholars Network (ECSN)

Step 1: ICTMD Membership

Begin by securing your ICTMD membership. Various membership options are available here. If you encounter any difficulties during the registration process, contact the ICTMD secretariat for assistance at secretariat@ictmd.org

Step 2: ICTMD Mailing List and Social Media

As an ICTMD member you will be able to subscribe to the ICTMD mailing list to stay updated on news, events, and opportunities. You can join by sending a blank email to ictm-l-subscribe@ictmusic.org. For more info see here.
The ICTMD also has a facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ictmd.org and an Instagram channel you can follow at @ictmd_org.

Step 3: ECSN Mailing List

Join the ICTMD Early Career Scholars mailing list by emailing Kendra Stepputat kendra-iris.stepputat[at]kug.ac.at , who is the chair of the ECS committee in ICTMD. This mailing list will connect you with fellow early career scholars and provide information on the ECSN as well as information about workshops and other activities aimed at early career scholars within and beyond ICTMD.

Step 4: Update Your Profile

Once your ICTMD membership is active, complete your profile in the membership directory. This allows other members to find and connect with you based on shared research interests. The directory also enables you to explore the profiles of other ICTMD members and discover potential collaborators in your field. You can edit your profile if you log in to your ICTMD account on the ICTMD website and then go to https://www.ictmusic.org/edit-omd.

Step 5: Explore Study Groups and Committees

Consider joining ICTMD Study Groups and national committees (see National Liaison officers here). Study groups and national committees organize symposiums and conferences (both online and in-person), providing excellent opportunities to network with researchers and discuss your ideas.
