The XIII. Symposium of the ICTM Study Group for Music Archaeology will be held in Guatemala City, on 8-12 April 2013. Business meeting held on 9 July 2007, at the 39th ICTM World Conference in Vienna. The business meeting was held to elect a new chair and discuss future activities of the study group. It was chaired by Stephen Wild and Adje Both and attended by 14 colleagues who expressed their interest in this growing research field.

The Music Archaeology Study Group of ICTM (the International Council of Traditional Music) will hold its study group meeting April 25-27, 2003 on the campus of the University of California, Los Angeles. Anyone is welcome to attend.
GENERAL INFORMATION: The study group is newly re-organized, and this will be the first study group meeting. The group will complement existing groups that hold meetings in Europe and other parts of the world, with the goal of increasing interaction and information exchange among those with similar interests.
