A Non-Governmental Organization in Formal Consultative Relations with UNESCO
The host city of the 48th ICTMD World Conference will be Wellington, the vibrant capital city of the New Zealand, which holds the Indigenous name Te Whanganui-a-Tara (The Great Harbour of Tara). This will be the first world conference held in New Zealand, and regionally only the third world conference within Oceania in the council’s history.
