Dear colleagues,  

We are pleased to announce that the deadline for the Call for Proposals for the 5th Symposium of the ICTM Study Group on Music and Dance of the Slavic World, to be held in Nitra from 6–9 October 2025, has been extended to April 15. 

This extension allows us to accommodate a broader range of potential participants, including several colleagues who have only recently become aware of the Call, partly due to a delay in its appearance in the ICTMD meeting calendar. We are happy to see growing interest in the event and want to ensure that all interested scholars have an opportunity to participate. 

In line with the practice of many ICTMD Study Groups, we would also like to confirm that the Call is open to persons in Nitra who are not currently ICTMD members. 

We look forward to receiving your proposals and welcoming you to Nitra in October 2025.
