A Non-Governmental Organization in Formal Consultative Relations with UNESCO
Following the success of the First General Survey of ICTM Members (2018), the ICTM Executive Board decided to conduct a second survey of ICTM members in the third trimester of 2020. A special-purpose Executive Board committee (chaired by Salwa El-Shawan Castelo-Branco and formed by Naila Ceribašić, Ursula Hemetek, Svanibor Pettan, Don Niles, J. Lawrence Witzleben, and Carlos Yoder) was appointed to oversee its implementation. The Survey included new questions addressing issues of discriminatory, biased, and/or alienating behaviour occurring at ICTM events, and pertaining to the potential change to the name of the Council.
The Second General Survey of ICTM Members was conducted from 15 November to 15 December 2020. Out of 1070 eligible members, 351 (33%) responded, an important increase in participation since the previous survey.
The survey's questions are available here.
A report on the analysis of the survey's results was announced in the October 2021 issue of the Bulletin of the ICTM. The report can be accessed on the Your Account section of this website.
